Meet the Team
John Rounds
John has over 30 years of experience in Latin America, is bilingual, and has traveled to over 45 countries on five continents. John has led sales and marketing teams internationally and owned several small businesses. He has a passion for personal sovereignty, freedom, and creating new life options. He has focused his attention and talents over the last five years on learning firsthand how to leverage geoarbitrage strategies, obtain second residencies and passports, purchase foreign real estate, and open bank accounts. John has summited Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Western hemisphere, had first descents on a paddleboard in the Patagonia region of Chile, loves the outdoors and fishing, and especially loves coffee.
Gisella Grados
Gisella has over twenty years of experience in the hotel and service industry. As a Peruvian, she has a deep understanding of how to navigate Latin culture and bureaucracy. Her attention to detail and commitment to follow-up, along with her network in Latin America separates her from the crowd. Gisella has hiked all through the sacred valley of Peru, and visited Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Paracas, and the Cordillera Blanca in Huaraz. She has stood on the equatorial line in Ecuador, studied English in London and Brighton in England, and walked the canals of Amsterdam. She’s currently based in Ajijic, Mexico, where she has fallen in love with the people, food, and climate. Gisella loves and is proud of her Peruvian heritage and world-famous cuisine. She loves almost all adventures, travel, cuisine, and Pilates workouts.
Together, John and Gisella offer a rare combination of expertise, knowledge, and boots-on-the-ground experience in Latin America. They have personally gone through the process of acquiring second residencies and passports, foreign real estate acquisition, document translation, apostilles, and are currently living and leveraging geoarbitrage in Latin America. After living through the government’s reaction to Covid, consequential restrictions in their respective countries, and inability to see one another, they vowed to never be in that situation again. They learned firsthand the importance of developing Plan B options to maintain freedom of travel and personal sovereignty. John and Gisella lead the team of advisors in Latin America and ensure you have the most current information and strategies to achieve your personal goals in Latin America.
